MY MOTIVATION
‘I have lived and breathed construction for all of my working life, and long before. Having grown up in a family of entrepreneurs, I started working on construction sites at sixteen and carried out my first property development in 2004 during my spare time. My passion and drive for construction and property always shines through.
My professional career started in Tier One Main Contracting in 2003 which allowed me to grow my construction knowledge, management and leadership skills. Having delivered many flagship projects successfully as project lead and gaining vital experience in pre-construction delivery, I reached a point where I needed to venture into a more corporate role where I could push myself and further develop my skill set.
This is when I joined a Civil Engineering Contractor in 2015, becoming one of the Group’s Directors. In my time there I was instrumental in increasing the turnover from an average of £2m per annum to £7m per annum. This was achieved by building the company’s management team with the right personnel and systemising the businesses procedures to create accountability, ownership, efficiencies and visibility of project costs through effective reporting. This all led to improved profitability.’
